We would love to have you sew for us even if you don't have supplies.

We have mask kits available for pick-up and delivery.

Our mask kits will be available for pick up at our distribution centers (during open hours) starting on Thursday, April 2.

MASK KIT DISTRIBUTION

Mask kits are distributed and noted by number to each individual.  Additional mask kits will not be distributed until all mask kits are returned and completed.

Mask kits can also be delivered to you upon request.  We do ask that if you take materials from our supplies or through our group connections, that the supplies are used for the sole purpose of making masks for our group.  Masks may not be made for personal use, given to other individuals or charities, or placed for sale.

If you do not need entire kits to make masks but are looking for particular supplies (ex. Need 3 feet of elastic), please go to our Sew. Some. Good. Greenville Materials Exchange Group.  Search for others who have supplies to donate or post your need and someone with supplies will respond to you.  Please arrange these exchanges on your own.  We may be able to help if absolutely necessary with a volunteer to facilitate your exchanges among each other but please try your best first.  If you still need help, message Staci Kathleen.

SUPPLY DONATIONS:

If you have small scale donations (i.e. a few feet of elastic, fabric scraps, etc, please post in this FB group to arrange a member to member exchange as well or drop off to one of our distribution centers during open hours.  Place supplies in bin marked donated supplies at the loading dock.

If you have a large scale donation, please message Megan Smith.

Request Mask Pick Up

image56

Every Sunday by 10 am, a graphic will be posted in our FB groups and on our FB page asking for Mask Pick Up Requests with a link in the comments to fill out a form requesting pick up.

Request must be entered by 5pm that day. A minimum of 10 completed masks are required for pick up.

After you fill out the form, we will match a volunteer to your area to pick up your masks. Please seal them in a ziplock bag and have them labeled as if you were dropping them at our distribution center. Clearly label the outside of the bag with date, your Facebook name and mask count/type.

EXAMPLE: 3/29 Emily Malsam 10/Pocket–Adult, 10/Pocket–Child

Please make arrangements with the volunteer picking up your masks to try to minimize contact, and avoid anyone needing to come into your home. (Porch pickups are a great choice!) Maintain your social distancing (at least 6 feet) and please wash your hands after all interactions.

When masks are received at the the distribution center, they will be “quarantined” for 2 days. They will then be checked for quality assurance and then distributed locally. Keep up with our group/project of Facebook and see where your masks have been distributed!
